No open roles right now.
Vero is built by one person. When that changes, this page changes — and it will say so plainly rather than listing roles that don't exist yet.
What's actually being built
Vero reads the day's market news for the companies someone actually holds, scores what matters, and explains it in plain English. The hard part isn't the reading — it's the filtering. Most financial news is noise wearing a ticker symbol, and a product that forwards it all is worse than nothing.
So most of the engineering is judgment encoded as constraints: relevance gates that refuse to surface an article about a different company, scoring that has to justify itself, and a hard rule that the product never invents a number it cannot compute.
What working here would mean
Being honest about the stage: this is an independent product without outside funding, a marketing department, or a support rota. There is no team to join yet. If that changes, the first hires would be people comfortable owning a problem end to end — from the data pipeline through to the sentence a non-professional investor actually reads.
- Strong opinions about what not to show someone.
- Comfort with financial data being messy, delayed, and occasionally wrong.
- A low tolerance for interfaces that look finished but aren't.
Get in touch anyway
If this is the kind of product you'd want to work on, say so. There's no pipeline, no applicant tracking system, and no promise of a role — just a real inbox. Tell us what you'd want to build and what you've built before.
